In 2017, Angela Pham bought a cottage in upstate New York intended as a weekend getaway from life as a commercial photographer in New York City. This past March, when it became clear that New York was quickly becoming a hot spot for the COVID-19 virus, she and her boyfriend Tim decided their best and safest option was to retreat to the cottage.
Suddenly, a place that was intended for short stays has become their home for almost three months and counting. Angela and Tim have found themselves embracing and enjoying rural life and the natural surrounding.
