Let’s cut to the chase — I love snacks. No matter what time of day it is, I’m down for a quick bite. And, if you’re a snacker like me, you don’t discriminate when it comes to something savory or sweet: you’re always game for either. As a vegan, it’s easy to have snacks that I adore when I’m hungry at home. I can easily curate the perfect array of foods from my favorite grocery stores, and they’re constantly at my disposal (for better, or for worse). But, when I’m traveling or on the road, finding snacks that fit a vegan lifestyle becomes much more difficult.

However, as a long-time snacker, I believe I’ve finally found the perfect list of go-to snacks. No, there aren’t just fruits and vegetables on the list: I’m talking the best of the best here. In no particular order, let’s get to snacking!

1. Sunflower Seeds

If you’re looking for something to keep you busy during a road trip and aren’t super hungry, don’t pass on the shelled sunflower seeds. Not only is this a snack that lasts long, but many gas stations also carry different flavors.
