Big news: my foster dog Oshi got adopted! He was with me for four months and I loved him very much but I’m glad he’s off to his meant-to-be home where they promised to let him sleep in the bed. I’m waiting to find out who my next foster will be, but in the meantime I’m hitting the shelter twice a week to meet some short-term pals.

Autumn is the perfect time to adopt a dog. They get you outside even when S.A.D. wants you to hide under the covers, and they’ll keep you company through the long, dark winter ahead. (Cuffing season, more like ruffing season, am I right? Thanks.)
