People Are Making Picnic Tables for Squirrels Now
Good news for squirrels, picnics, and everybody
The world of squirrels just got a little bit brighter thanks to an innovation that could change their habits in:re: luncheon for the foreseeable future. Thanks to a plumber in Pennsylvania named Rick Kalinowski, who is already a hero in the squirrel community after having rescued and nursed back to health an orphaned baby squirrel a few years ago, our squirrel friends can now enjoy their picnics in style, rather than laying out their blankets and hampers directly on the hard ground as they had previously been accustomed to do.
Although some squirrels have been slow to adopt appropriate picnic etiquette and insist on standing on their tables, the sudden proliferation of squirrel picnics is generally agreed to be a good thing.
