Now Everyone Is Crocheting Tiny Couches for Their Cats

We may be a few steps closer to a world where every cat has a tiny, crocheted couch

Importantly, people have begun crocheting tiny couches and armchairs for their cats. This is work that should have been underway on a large scale decades ago, but given the logistical difficulties, as well as the notorious unreliability of the cat community (who are likely to watch you spend four months crocheting a seat for them and then run off to sleep in an old cardboard box), it is work that has been too-long delayed.

As more and more people have free time on their hands, and as more and more cats find themselves reluctantly willing to broaden their horizons and expand their sleeping repertoire to tiny handmade couches, we as a world family are a few steps closer to a scenario where every household with a cat also has a tiny yarn chaise lounge, divan, or daybed where society’s kitties can rest.
