Whether you’ve browsed physical or digital shelves for vegan personal care products in the past 10 years, chances are that you know Meow Meow Tweet’s (MMT) soaps, deodorants, and skincare products. If you have encountered the brand, it’s very likely that you’ve been drawn to the colorful packaging with whimsical illustrations of animals. Maybe a snake playing basketball with the planet Saturn drew you in, or perhaps it was a leopard preening in a mirror. A cat surfing on a whale’s spout, anyone?

The line of soaps, skincare, and hair care products carries personal touches from its makers: ingredient combinations inspired by the plants that cofounder Tara Pelletier used in her past life as a chef and kitchen manager and wrapped in the signature low-waste packaging designed by cofounder Jeff Kurosaki.
