Mark Bittman’s Vinegar-Free Cucumber Pickles

I love this recipe from our friends at ‘Heated’

Lately I’ve been into making refrigerator pickles, but was a touch annoyed by a strong vinegar flavor in my last batch. Then I saw this post from Mark Bittman at Heated about simple pickles made with just salt, dill, and garlic, and I feel like my problems are solved. They are “only” good for a week, which is about twice as long as a batch of pickles would ever last in my house anyway.

I’ll be running through the house with a pickle in my mouth in no time!
