Chocolate led me to the love of my life and these chocolate recipes might just lead you to yours too. My husband and I are living proof that chocolate and love go hand-in-hand. When we first met, we connected over our shared dream of selling handmade chocolate. He was farther along with his business and so I figured ‘if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em!’ Within a month of knowing each other, Aeron and I were partners, both in chocolate and in life.

It was the most glorious time, but like our chocolate, it had a shelf life. Scaling up would require a lot of money and risk. We decided to shutter the operation, but our love for chocolate and each other lives on.

Starting a business as we started a relationship showed us how to work together on many different levels and built a solid foundation for our future together. There’s no single right path to a long, happy relationship but my unsolicited advice is to try making chocolate together and see where it leads.

Cooking your own food is an aphrodisiac in and of itself.
