Embrace the Vegan Magic of Pre-Made Puff Pastry

Repeatedly folding and rolling buttery dough to make vegan puff pastry can be a laborious and tedious task, especially in a hot kitchen during the summer. But there’s no reason for you to miss out on breakfast pastries, delicious tarts, and other goodies thanks to the magic of store-bought puff pastry dough!

You can usually find frozen pre-made puff pastry sheets that are incidentally vegan (just make sure to double check the ingredients label!), but if you can’t find actual puff pastry another easy, usually vegan option is that puff pastry-like croissant dough that comes in a tube. This kind of dough is still laminated like puff pastry, but is going to yield more a bready texture and slightly less flaky result as it usually has a leavening agent like yeast added. At the end of the day, both of these pre-made doughs can be used to make a myriad of recipes much, much simpler.

So, my vegan friends, please take advantage of that delightful, already made puff pastry and try making some of these sweet and savory recipes.
