Change is incredibly hard. Especially for the behaviors we do each day.

I still remember the confusion as I searched for something I can eat the second day I experimented with veganism. Nowadays ,the shelves are chock-full of deliciousness and the lack of variety or supply is no longer a problem. If anything, we’re swamped by choice. But five years ago, I looked at shelves with soy milk and celebrated the fact that I can still eat muesli for breakfast.

Yaay.

Often, we vegans think most people are just lazy, stubborn, or too set in their ways to see the truth in veganism. We’re tired of and agitated by having the same conversations that all revolve around protein and the fact that yes, we can survive without cheese.

Often we think people just want to protect their right to eat meat even though it destroys the planet. It’s super easy to make the conclusion that those people are all kinds of backward. Like a driver that cuts you off on the highway, you won’t see he has a wife in labor on the backseat. What you’ll see is a stupid moron in a monstrosity of an SUV, being a dick.

But to see things that way, you’d be making an error. More precisely, fundamental attribution error. Let…
