A Meditation Script for Vegans Who Are Really Close To Losing It

Imagine calming ambient tones, perhaps a babbling brook, a woodsy scene, or cows mooing and roosters crowing at a farm animal sanctuary.

Please get into a comfortable position. For example, you may sit in a chair with your feet on the ground, on a pillow in a cross-legged position or lie on your back. Rest your hands gently on your lap or by your side. Softly close your eyes and let your body settle.

Inhale — one, two, three, four — and now exhale — five, six, seven, eight. Inhale….feel the breath slowly travel from your nose, down your throat, filling your lungs and finally expanding in your tummy like a fabulous Mongolian tofu stir-fry…hold the breath and the expansion…and now slowly exhale. Repeat. Feel your body energize with each inhalation and relax with each exhalation.
