I know lots of people who skip breakfast or indulge in greasy on-the-go sandwiches a little too often. I used to hate breakfast and would graze until lunch. And years later, I’m one of those people who is obsessed with breakfast and never skips it. So what happened? The main reason I became strict with myself about eating a good meal in the morning is that it made me feel significantly better!

Without breakfast, we’re more likely to be irritable, tired, and less focused. When I’m hungry, it’s a challenge for me to get anything productive done. And who actually enjoys that inevitable crash when the caffeine buzz from your morning latte starts to wear off? Fueling your body to have a good start to your day doesn’t have to be hard. So here are five of my favorite smoothies to help you start your day right. Measurements are just a suggestion, but I typically eyeball everything because not one of my smoothies ever tastes exactly the same. Organic is not required.
