For many of us, figuring out what to eat when we first go vegan can be a challenge. Luckily, there are many recipes out there to help with any food challenges we may come up against. There are countless vegan recipe books, vegan food blogs, and even a recipe section here on Tenderly that contains some great ideas to get you up and running in no time.

Whether you’re a beginner in the kitchen, a seasoned chef, or somewhere in between, all of the following 12 vegan mains are huge on flavor and don’t require tons of time, pots, or pans to prepare. In fact, you can have many of these meals on the table in 30-minutes or less.

Some of these recipes are vegan remakes of your non-vegan favorites from the past, others will be new-to-you dishes that you should make room on your dinner rotation to try — and all of them, even though some may look complex, are incredibly easy-to-make.

If you’re looking for something sweet after you finish dinner, how about this cherry pie?
